Connie Loflin Peninger

Connie specializes in painting with acrylic on canvas. She also paints on glass, enjoys watercolor, and pyrography, including wood burn jewelry.

Connie resides in Salisbury and greatly enjoys membership with the Carolina Artists. She is mostly self-taught. Connie’s grandmother was an artist and began teaching her at age 5. She studied under Frank Saunders in high school and is currently studying under Mr.Saunders. She has also studied under Betty Bonner Carmichael Steele and has participated in other workshops over the years.

Connie has work in Texas, Michigan, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, as well as the Carolinas. She was commissioned for a painting depicting the beginning of Project Santa which was presented to the Garner family for the 50th Anniversary of the organization. As a cancer survivor, she prays that her work will bless someone else. A portion of all current sales are donated to Relay For Life and the homeless. She can be reached at wpeninger1@gmail.com.
