I was born and spent most of my youth just outside of Raleigh North  Carolina. Growing up in the country gave me the opportunity to observe and appreciate the colors of nature.. I ve had no formal art training. But I believe the love of art has been in me since birth. Self taught, I ve worked in oils. acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pencil  and pen and ink. My works have been displayed in Florida,North Carolina, VA and New York. Most recently, I participated in the 2010 Carolina Artists EXPO where I was awarded second place in the oils and acrylics category with the oil painting titled  " Heaven's  Gate." It is a great and humbling feeling to know that someones heart can be touched by my artistic creations.
