Welcome to Carolina Artists!
The Carolina Artists meet monthly and feature interesting and informative presentations on art-related topics by artists from many venues.
Carolina Artists was formed in 1990 by working artists for the express purpose of providing more opportunities for local artists to be recognized within the central Carolina community.
Our Guild is dedicated to both teaching and learning through the development of community educational arts programs such as demonstrations and workshops representing diverse artistic influences, expanding awareness of events and educational opportunities through information networking, presentations, demonstrations, meetings and mailings, and providing opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their works through participation in community events and hosting annual shows and sponsoring contests.
All artists at any level of expertise, art students and other individuals interested in promoting arts in the community are welcome to join.
We meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, at the Salisbury City Park Center, 316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, North Carolina.
June 11, 2007 we were granted tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to our Guild will now be deductible under section 170 of the Code.
